GShade's preset format should look like this: FeatureLevel=40901 Techniques=<preset list> TechniqueSorting=<preset list> [Shader Name.fx] <shader options> Some preset creator might be using shader that's not pre-installed with GShade, e.g. RTGI. That might be the cause why you're not seeing the same visual effects.GShade is a highly modified ReShade fork & utility package with numerous improvements and settings autodetection for over 300 games. Note that all shaders in this repository are intended for use with the latest GShade release. Not all shaders will work under official builds of ReShade due to the implementation of GShade's additional features.It will pop up a scary-looking message box warning of bans when you first launch. Just ignore it; ReShade can get you banned just as much as GShade can, aka it can't. Don't install into ffxiv.exe, as that's the DirectX 9 version of the game. I’ve tried re installing it…THAT didn’t work…I even got in touch with them on discord and tried their steps and that didn’t work either. I tried a multiple of things and my game STILL crashes. When I launch the game, the top window for Gshade says “compiling shaders” it’ll get to a shader and then freeze and crash.
