Clicking noise 2021 duramax. I have noticed this sound intermittently since I purchased the truck new three years ago. My warranty is close to expiring, and I was reading that some of had issues with the fuel pump that may have sounded like a clicking. The clicking varies with engine RPMs.

The noise is not audible at idle or deceleration, only upon acceleration or when cursing down the highway. It seems to be loudest when the engine is hot 90+. Just Bought the truck and have previously owned a couple doge cummins. They were loud but they hummed along rhythmically not this random clacking and ticking.

Weird ticking noise on 2015. It only happens while the truck is running and it's coming from the engine clearly herd from the wheel wells. It sounds like a hot exhaust cooling down and the crack/pop/ticks you get.
