Yes, running too much string and bogging is an issue. You dont' need to run constant WOT, just don't lug the thing around too much or you will likely get build up. Personally, i would not worry about it at all. youv'e got a good trimmer that many on here use, myself included. No adjustments needed, run it.

Those trimmers should have the rotary valve carburetors on them in which the end user is not able to adjust.
