Their CDMA service shows no coverage for the major cruise ports in SE Alaska. GSM is also what ATT uses everywhere. So you have choices. The cell signal from a GSM tower is 3-5 miles at best, and the Baja Peninsula is sparsely populated and very untamed. So you won't get a land-based cell signal away from ports...they're either too far from shore or there's no coverage to begin with.
