You can rotate the fence kits. If you lose track, the logs always lay on the inside of the fence when attached. I can only speak for consoles but when your setting the fence kit whichever way you are facing is the outward way. (Where your eyes are facing is out with you being on the inside). Joined: June 23, 2012. Posted July 20, 2012. It is really easy to remove or vault (sometimes). The problem is that the people putting them are getting smarter (*shudder*) and are placing them so it's really hard to remove/bypass. Rocket has already said the wire is just a test, expect changes soon.

I want to place a gate over the bathroom. It is only letting me build the upper wall.You need to get some metal wire. Barbed wire is used to put on the bottom or top of your fences/gates as a defence. Metal wire is used to make gates. Find some metal wire instead and the option should come up to attach it. 1.Takes 15 min or less to crack a 3 combo. 4 combo use grenades. You can hit it with a hammer, just aim very carefully and you'll hear a ding. Not sure if it has to be a hammer or if any melee will work. I did it myself after reading about it on a YouTube comment, otherwise it's not documented anywhere.On private server, I always make a mark on izurvive when I find bases, and break into them occasionally. I'm sure others do the same, and it will only happen more and more the older the base is since more people will have found it. Without better security, base building is a fruitless endeavor. I fenced up a wall and turned it into a gate on the inside of a 3rd story town house on the inside of the door. the gate worked fine until I went to loot the town. I put the combination lock on and left.
Hold the pliers and look at the wire to get the promt to dismantle. You cant take the wire off without removing the lock first. To dismantle the frame you have to turn the gate back into a fence by removing the wire, then you may dismantle the frame. The posts can then be dug out with a shovel after everything is removed.
