Functionally, more tire and less rim is better in terms of performance. Its not like a 20 is a small rim! Especially for the cost. My tuned 17 F350 on 37s only got 1-2 mpg better than my current 7.3 on 305/70s. They hit the leaf springs near full lock and very seldom hit the body. I think with an inch of body lift, and some deeper dish rims that 36/37s would fit fine.Received 21 Likes on 10 Posts. Twice I've seen 15.3 but that was all highway zero stop and go traffic.
