Personally i woukd just 2 hand the Darkmoon Greatsword. It's already busted as it is, it doesn't need a backup weapon or spell to be paired with it to work well. Focus your stats on vigor, endurance and intelligence while also meeting at least the minimal strength requirements. The AoW is your best friend so consider a few levels in Mind as well.

So talking a little bit about the Dark Moon Greatsword, first of all, this weapon has very good in-scaling at max level, and it has decent Strength and Dexterity scaling.They're not incredible.
