IDES/MEB TIMELINE. Hey everyone, I'm U.S. Army AD. This forum was very instrumental to me throughout the entire IDES process, so I figured that sharing my timeline may help answer someone's question (s) with regards to IDES/MEB/VA timeline and process. TIMELINE: 12/18/2018 - MEB initiated with three P3 profiles 12/20/2018 - …I have spent time looking on this forum at other peoples timelines and stories so I figured i would add my own. 10 years of service in the Nuke field and issued into IDES in October of 2020. Issued into IDES - October 25, 2020. First exam - Jan 5, 2021. Last exam - Feb 25, 2021 (I had 6 exams in total)Mine only took like 2ish months but I don’t know if that’s the standard. After my last C&P it probably took 3 weeks to get a rating if my memory serves me right. Either way it shouldn’t take nearly as long as a traditional comp claim. It sucks not having a firm timeline but with your exams complete it should move fast. Good luck!

After that, I received the PEB disposition in March of 2023 My retirement was effective Monday, May 29th, 2023. This can be a pain in the ass process.

From the sound of it, you are in the very beginning stages. The MEB packet needs to be sent off to the PEB for determination of fit or unfit and then if unfit, sent off to the VA.
