It seems like the only place that may be a problem is the slide lock/release on the M11-A1. If that is a problem I'd imagine some gentle dremel tool action would remedy it. Went to qualify and first shot had an FTE with the next good round butting up against the back of the non-extracted spent round. I cleared and finished the next few rounds required no prob.The P228 has been discontinued. The A1 has a Nitron coated stainless steel slide, the internals are phosphate coated (parkerized), comes with Sig night sights, and Sig's excellent Short Reset Trigger (SRT). The improved gun has a stronger milled slide, external extractor, eliminated the pinned breech block, higher mag capacity, revised frame (using a rail-less P229), stock night sights and coated internal parts.
