We have created and maintain 70 miles of the MNDNR snowmobile Grant-in-aid trail system in the northeast Twin Cities metro area. With the return of freezing temps since the rains, the snowpack is almost hard enough to walk right across. I did sink in about 2-3″, but it is a real hard pack right now.
