John deere 1780 planter problems.

I have a 1780 16/31 john deere planter I cannot get the monitor to work all the time. Sometimes it will work very well and then again it will not work at all. It will tell me its planting when it's not and vice versa. I check the circuit with the planter diagnostics and it will tell me it is ok. Just my 2 cents, the 1780 is not my favorite bar, when folded it is heavy on the draw bar, when turning on the ends the planter will pick up the weight on the draw bar making it difficult to make turns, will take front wheel assit to pull. Not good in wet conditions, a boat anchor if you lift planter.

First off, we just got it out to get it prepped for planting season. When we try and lift the wing wheels to unfold, right side wing wheels will lift just fine, left side can barely lift itself. I've seen the problem worse on Deere's 1780 style planter with the longer hitch on the 6/11 or 8/15 planters causing more side pressure on turns.
