Apr 9, 2005 · Hi everyone, my first posting so here goes. What type of oil should I be using in my DRZ400s a 2002 model. It has only done 2000 miles and never seen the dirt (soon change that). I drained the tank and the crankcase. The book says. 2.1qts.sticker on the quad saya 2000ml. I put 2 qts in it which would be 1912ml. I assumed this would get it on the stick atleast but it didn't. I kept adding and checking and it took almost 3 qts.

I only use 93 or 92 octane in all my single cylinder 4 strokes. With my 2-stroke jet skis which burn way more gas, I check the compression 140 psi gets regular 150psi to 170psi gets premium.
