PSA developed a new hybrid polymer steel/magazine for the Micro Dagger. The front of the hybrid magazine is polymer so the original polymer Glock 43X/48 can be used. PSA introduced the Full-Size Dagger™ at SHOT Show 2022. It was rather confusing in that it was not a full-size (or standard) pistol, but rather a Compact-Length Slide / Standard-Height Frame Crossover similar to a G19X or G45. PSA later introduced the Short Full-Size (G19X/G45 gen3 "clone") and Long Full-Size (G17 gen3 "clone) distinction.
