Available from Evinrude parts only. If you have a temp sensor with both wires in the port head, you have the right sensor. The engine will go into SLOW mode when a temp sensor closes at about 200 degrees AND the alarm will sound. Both events occur. Thanks!

With the engine running, turn the trunion and get the idle to where it belongs. Race the throttle slightly a couple times to see where the idle drops to and adjust as needed. Pull the small primer hose off the hose barb on the top of the top carb. Turn the key to on, and push in on the key. If fuel pulses out of the end of the hose, the solenoid is working.
