I purchased this 2008 Honda Odyssey in 2011, with approximately 45,000 miles on it. During the winter of 2013, I began to experience groaning (and sometimes "humming") noises from the power steering system. Additionally, the steering wheel was hard to turn at low speeds.

But the 2008 model & newer Odyssey's with the newer 3.5 L V6 have horrible oil consumption. This vehicle burns about a quart of oil or more every 1,000 miles or less. Did not realize the engine was burning so much oil until the engine oil light came on & motor was over 2 quarts low. Dip stick was almost totally dry.
