Bg3 split screen crashing.
Since today we have a problem, that one friend A cannot join my hosted multiplayer game. He is stuck at 80% loading when he tries to join my hosted game. The other friend B can join without a problem. Things we have tried so far: -reinstalling the game, friend A deleted all Larian Folders in the local app data folder.

My wife and I are playing splitscreen on the XsX and this is our second playthrough. Both times we have gotten to the lower city we experience significant crashing in the lower city whenever we reach it. And it’s only in the Lower city and it doesn’t seem to be local to any one spot. Then after that, we FINALLY managed to get it to start and we have constant freezing up and having to force close (but definitely no crash log, nope).
Try right clicking and holding on the bg3_dx11.exe / bg3.exe executable, then hold Shift down, release the right mouse button and select Run as administrator, continuing to hold Shift until the splash screen comes up. Holding Shift prevents the game from taking focus when loading, and can avoid certain resolution or DirectX/Vulkan issues.
It was actually playable at least. I know the game hasn't been released long, but god I'm hoping for a real fix for everyone playing split screen. 🙏 tldr: Limit your fps to 30 in split screen play. Seems to help with freezing and crashing.
