Even after it was 'fixed' it is still nearly unplayable without losing your sanity. The jump physics are weird to start with, but it's possible to get used to them. If you want to jump a long distance, hold down the button / click for a longer period of time. Likewise, if you want to jump a really short distance (i.e. when there are very small gaps between the tracks), click very briefly (just tap). It can take a while to get used to measuring the distance and subsequently reacting, but keep trying!!
