Building tech generally goes pretty quickly since it comes from building, chopping trees and mining. Farming can be pretty quick passively if you have large plots. You can also cheese it a bit by creating a plot, tilling it then destroying the plot and doing it again. Hunting just seems slow in general and I think it needs some tuning.
