Jul 7, 2023 · I recently received 2x of the PSA Micro Dagger Mags. These are 15 round mags made for the PSA Micro Dagger, which is supposed to be compatible with the Glock 43x and Glock 48. These mags differ from the Shield Arms S15 in that they do not require the mag release to be changed to a steel release. They are a hybrid of steel mag with a polymer mag ... I have a full size and what psa just told me was the glock 19 gen 1-3 mags work. But they don't fit in my gun only gen 5 17s work. I just left the gun shop and they said the 19s will not fit at all. Before going to the range I took the mag apart and checked the spring and did a little sanding inside the mag on the polymer side, on the sharp edges of the follower and the top edges of the the mag. Nothing drastic with the mag, but just a little touch up.I was having similar issues with the Shield Arms Mags. Had two Gen 2 then bought a Gen 3; same issue. I replaced the recoil spring with a tungsten, light spring from Glock Store and so far, no issues after 100 rounds. I’ll follow up after my second trip to the range. Like you, if the problem repeats, I’m going back to OEM.
