Advice on Rapier build. So ive read alot of mixed opinions on whats the best way to go with a rapier build. Some people think going raw damage with the espera whatever is best. Some say richards rapier with min requirements and poison is better, or any other infusion. while some say infusion is a bad idea. One guy said a "Hexerity" build is ...None, really. If you want an OP elemental rapier, use the uninfused Chaos Rapier with Charcoal Pine Resin. Rapiers are best off as uninfused weapons. The base damage+scaling+140/120 counter rating+leo ring (12,5% counter boost) is very powerful. Too much damage is lost to split defenses when you infuse a rapier with an elemental.

Rapiers have a long window. So the attack should hit you as your parry is half way done. That's the best way for me to explain it.

Ricards is fun for the R2 attack. I had a lot of fun with that + enchantment (ala ds1) But the durability frowns on this behaviour. So much so that i couldn't use R2 to poke a single boss to death.
