The dealer will use a trans simulator tool that will work the wiring as if it is the trans.

Easy to fix, just take the top of the trans off from inside the cab and check it out, easy to see if it's trying to go into two gears at the same time. Big screwdriver will pry it right. I am not hard on the truck and changed the fluid and filters at 100k. It doesnt make any attempt to move in drive, but also doesnt make any noises.
